The Trump administration is reportedly considering blocking foreign companies and persons from dealing with Venezuela's state-run oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA). Because the company is Venezuela's last key source of revenue, further pressure on PDVSA will make it that much more difficult for embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to remain in power.
