The Economic Forum in Krynica
The Economic Forum in Krynica is the most prestigious event in Central Europe. It has been held annually by the Polish Institute for Eastern Studies in a picturesque mountain resort of Krynica (to be pronounced kri'nitsa) in southern Poland. Year after year, the Forum brings together over 2000 participants from more than 60 countries – Europe, North America and Asia, including European Commissioners, Heads of State and Government, Members of Parliament, businessmen, renowned NGOs’ representatives and journalists. Each year the Forum is covered by the major domestic and world-wide media (i.e. The Economist, The Financial Times, Le Monde, Kommersant, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung)

Central European Journal for International and Security Studies
CEJISS is an academic journal designed as a bridge between Central European international relations and security perspectives with other regions, and as a means of providing fresh insights to the ever changing international relations and security environment. To those ends, CEJISS attracts authors from around the world and aims to breathe some fresh air into the field of international relations and security. This is achieved by providing a forum for young and more experienced scholars, irrespective of their political leanings, to submit contributions.
Gorshenin Institute (GI) is an independent, non-profit analytical and research center aimed to research political and social processes in Ukraine and in the whole world. It is an expert and communications platform for discussions on topical issues of national and international agenda. GI is an expertise for Ukrainian and international politicians, high ranked officials, CEOs, media, experts and NGOs.
The Pan-European Institute
The Pan-European Institute (PEI) observes the developments within the European economy and business throughout the whole continent. Its main focus is on reviewing changes both in the Baltic Sea region and in neighbouring countries of the European Union, especially in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. The results are published in a quarterly discussion forum, Baltic Rim Economies (BRE), which focuses on the development of the Baltic Sea Region. In BRE, high-level public and corporate decision makers, representatives of Academia and several other experts contribute to the discussion.
Middle East Institute, New Delhi (mei@nd)
Established in 2009, the Middle East Institute, New Delhi (mei@nd) is India’s first research institute exclusively devoted to understanding the vital region. Though based in India mei@nd is neither India-centric nor partisan. It sees its role as facilitating a better understanding of the region in this part of the world. It attempts to do this through its publications, advocacy and policy initiatives and can be accessed at: www.mei.org.in
The Centre for East European and Asian Studies
The Centre for East European and Asian Studies (CEEAS) was founded in October 2007, as a non-governmental, non-profit organization, within the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest. The CEEAS is the first and so far the only Romanian research institution focused on promoting Eurasian studies in the national and international academic environment.
Istituto Italiano Di Studi Strategici
The Italian Institute of Strategic Studies “Niccolò Machiavelli” is an independent – apolitical - no profit – Foundation - born by initiative of a well known group of Italian researchers seeking to develop innovative concepts proposed by the founders in many international conferences held in Italy in the past years. The Italian founders that took the lead in setting up the Institute come from many academic centers and Universities and they have been active in Italy for many years in the fields of research and education on strategic intelligence and global security issues, cooperating also with US and European Government think-tanks.
Political Science Association of Armenia
Political Science Association of Armenia was founded in 2011. The main purpose of this non governmental organization is to promote the development of Political Science and its professional growth in Armenia, to boost the progress of the Armenian Political Science School, the propagation of political culture, and the inculcation of professional and ethical norms for political scientists’ activities, to unite the political scientists-experts of Armenia and Diaspora for bending their professional efforts to the efficient solution of the national issues of Armenia.
Energy Policy Group
The Energy Policy Group (EPG) is a Bucharest-based non-profit, independent think-tank specializing in energy policy, market analytics and energy strategy, grounded in February 2014. EPG’s regional focus is Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Basin, yet its analyses are informed by wider trends and processes at global and EU levels.
EPG promotes a technologically advanced, secure, environmentally friendly and socially acceptable energy system. Although pro-business, EPG’s views are self-standing and science-based. EPG relies on the best specialized data sources, as well as on its own research concerning energy security and strategy, technology, markets, geopolitics and political risk.
Analytical Centre on Globalization and Regional Cooperation (ACGRC)
Established in 2002, ACGRC works as both a think-tank and an advocacy group, aiming to promotion of democratic values, strengthening of civil society and the rule of law in Armenia, development of free market economy, regional integration and peaceful resolution of regional conflicts. ACGRC supports public sector reforms and development of good practices in local governance, disseminates knowledge on legal issues, produces expert assessments and analysis of conflict transformation and regional cooperation issues, and supports initiatives that aim towards forming an atmosphere of trust and stable peace in the South Caucasus.
“EKIP” (Expert Club for Politics and Economics) is a young Bulgarian think-tank, founded in September 2011. It aims at creating a tribune for the exchange of ideas and opinions on the vital economic and political issues both in Bulgaria and in the international system. More specifically we analyze the developments of the global economic crisis, the political transformations in Europe and the geopolitical challenges of the day. Our goal is to build a team of young researchers, who will publish original, analytical articles accessible to the wider audience. We strive to initiate an in-depth and argumentative discussion that could engage people with new policy visions. In the future, we are looking to expand our work on specific research projects, as well as educational initiatives to foster the spread of objective, unbiased information among young people on the issues that shape our society.
Russian National Energy Security Fund (NESF)
The Fund was established in summer 2006 to study the influence of political factors on the energy industry and the effects of the oil & gas sector on the political processes in Russia. The NESF emerged from the Center for Current Politics as a detachment focusing solely on energy issues. Head of the Fund is Konstantin Simonov. He was also the president of the Center for Current Politics (CCP) since 2003 till 2008 years.
The National Energy Security Fund has pored on the following goals:
“Noravank” Foundation was established in 2000 by the decision of the RA government and according to its Charter the incumbent prime-minister is the Head of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. Being created as a centre for strategic researches and innovations, today “Noravank” is one of the leading organizations in the RA working as a modern “think tank”. Currently the Executive Director of the Foundation is Dr. Gagik Harutyunyan.
There are 4 centers within the structure of the Foundation: 1. “Centre for the Armenian Studies” (head –Arestakes Simavoryan), 2. the “Centre for the Information Studies” of (head – Dr. Gagik Harutyunyan), 3. the “Centre for the Political Studies” (head – Dr. Sevak Sarukhanyan), 4. the “Educational Centre” (head – Dr. Tigran Harutyunyan).
“Noravank” publishes “21st century” (in Armenian, Russian and English) as well as “Globus” journals.
