EGF Affiliated Expert Dr. Shanthie Mariet D’SOUZA was interviewed by DW.com and quoted in a media report on “US-Israel war with Iran shows fault lines in BRICS alliance”. She said that, although the alliance has potential as a forum for dialogue, it is perhaps unrealistic to expect BRICS to issue a joint statement, let alone intervene in any manner. Dr. D'Souza added that this was not the first time when BRICS had faced such a challenge.
