Russia suspends funding for military base in Tajikistan

The Russian Defense Ministry will not allocate funds for the 201st Russian military base (RMB) in Tajikistan, head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Nikolai Makarov said, Avesta.Tj reported with reference to Russian media.

Turkmenistan makes public position on disputed oil fields in Caspian Sea

Iranian, Kazakh FMs discuss cooperation

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi during his visit to Astana met with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kazykhanov, IRNA reported. The sides discussed the processes in the region, particularly in Syria and Afghanistan, including the fate of the project of the UN-Arab League special representative Kofi Annan to overcome crisis in Syria.
