At present, the operations are being rapidly conducted to construct the East-West gas pipeline. It is designed to unite all gas fields in the country, as well as to prepare for the industrial development of new prospective areas, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said. "We have agreed with Iran to launch a new round of talks in Istanbul on 14 April," said Michael Mann, spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton.
