U.S. set to clash with Russia, China over U.N. meeting on human rights

Lithuania says Russia has ability to launch Baltic attack in 24 hours

Russia has developed the capability to launch an attack on the Baltic states with as little as 24 hours' notice, limiting NATO's options to respond other than to have military forces already deployed in the region, Lithuania's intelligence service said on Monday.

Rosneft-led deal to buy India's Essar delayed until April

The purchase of Indian refiner Essar Oil by a consortium led by Russian oil company Rosneft has been delayed by a few weeks, the two sides said on Friday, because some Indian lenders to Essar have yet to sign off on the deal.
