China to Get Gas From Turkmenistan’s Giant Field

India leads Asian cuts in Iran oil imports ahead of sanctions waiver

India has slashed Iranian oil imports by almost a fifth since December, the sharpest cut among Asian buyers, in a move that should increase its chances of winning a new US waiver next month on sanctions targeting oil trade with Iran.

Nabucco transit countries adopts joint declaration

The governments of Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey at the fifth Nabucco Committee on Tuesday adopted a joint declaration, where they stressed the potential of Nabucco pipeline to supply the energy markets of the Western Balkans and the Visegrad group countries (Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary), Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH reported.

Turkmenistan to intensify diversification of gas supplies to world markets

At present, Turkmenistan is operating to diversify its natural gas supplies to the world markets as being one of the most important priorities of the energy policy of the country, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told the participants at the fourth International Gas Congress which opened in Ashgabat today.

Turkey reduces oil import
