Deputy foreign minister: Ukraine-EU summit to be held despite strained relations

The Ukraine-EU summit, which is scheduled for Dec. 19 in Kyiv, will be held despite strained relations between both sides, Interfax-Ukraine reported on Nov. 26 citing Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, who heads Ukraine’s delegations to the EU which is negotiating the association agreement.

Russia agrees gas price cuts for Belarus

Russia has agreed to cut gas prices for Belarus and lend Minsk $10 billion to build a nuclear power plant, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Friday, according to local news agencies.
