Nexans wins contract for submarine power link between Finland, Estonia

French cable maker Nexans has won a EUR180m turnkey contract from Fingrid and Elering, the electricity transmission system operators in Finland and Estonia, respectively, to build a high-voltage direct current power link, EstLink 2, between the two countries.

India’s attraction for global leaders: A view from China

Japan, Turkey ink initial directive on nuclear power plant deal

Japan and Turkey inked a directive on bilateral nuclear cooperation, taking both countries a step closer towards the fruition of a 20 billion U.S. dollar tie-up for Japanese firms to build a nuclear facility in Turkey, a Japanese industry ministry official said Friday.

Russian legislators to ratify arms pact next year

Turkmenistan appoints ambassador to Azerbaijan

Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan told APA that President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov issued an executive order on December 23 to appoint Toyli Komekov as ambassador to Azerbaijan. The order has been published in today’s newspapers.
