Energy expert, JD Natasha Udensiva , J.D. is a lecturer of International Affairs at the School of International Affairs and Public Policy, Columbia University since Spring 2013. Starting Spring 2014 she will also be advising the Capstone Workshop titled, "Assessing the Political Risk and Challenges Facing Western Oil and Gas Companies in Russia" there. Concurrently, she is also a Managing Partner at Eurasia Energy Associates, where she has been consulting a number of investment and financial companies as well as organizations such as the United Nations. From 2007 to 2011, Ms. Udensiva was a part of the research team at the Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy, Columbia University. She has authored a number of working papers on the Eurasian energy problems. Ms. Udensiva's research interests include: energy security, global energy geopolitics, and changes in the global energy landscape. Ms. Udensiva is a member of the American Bar and the New York Bar Associations. She received her J.D. from the New York Law School. Ms. Udensiva graduated from the Department of Psychology, Moscow State University.
