![]() Anastasia Soltanovskaya was born in India, and through her life has lived in Russia, Austria, Belgium and The Netherlands. She has received her BA in Economics and Economic Geography at the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands) and her MA from the University of Kent in Brussels in International Conflict and Security. Anastasia focused her studies on Post-crisis response, and Education as part of Humanitarian response, as well as having a background in Development Economics. Anastasia is fluent in Russian, English and German, and has an intermediate knowledge of French, Spanish and Dutch. Anastasia’s work experience has ranged from research on Afghanistan’s role on regional geopolitics for a South Asian think-tank, to working for the Public Information and Refugee Protection Units of the UNHCR office in Moscow, to promoting International Education to Russian high-school students as part of the American Councils for International Education team
