Marco Giuli joined the Brussels-based Madariaga Foundation in October 2008 as economist-research fellow. Prior to joining the foundation, he worked for the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade in Moscow and for the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels. He holds a BA in international relations and a MA in economics of European integration. His main areas of interest cover the EU-Russia energy relations, gas trade and transit in Europe, economics of transition, and EU economic policy.
