Sadegh-Zadeh Kaweh

expert on the geopolitics of the Caspian energy supply

Kaweh is currently reading for a Masters degree in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, focusing on Energy Policy. Prior to that he worked for Wood Mackenzie in the capacity of a Research Analyst (Russia and Caspian region) and as an Upstream Consultant. He has developed an expertise in Caspian affairs and the upstream sector. He joined Wood Mackenzie after working at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies on Russian gas supplies to Europe. Kaweh obtained a M.A. in Conflict, Security and Development from King's College London and his B.A. in Government Studies from the University of Erfurt in Germany. He also spent an exchange year at the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO), which is subordinated to Russia's Foreign Ministry. He has travelled widely and is fluent in Russian, Persian, German and English.
